That’s why we are excited to highlight GREENBOT, an EU-funded project that shares our vision for a smarter, more sustainable future. During the EU CAP Network seminar on Robotics and AI in farming and forestry, held on 19 and 20 February 2025 in Utrecht, our colleague Alessia Nizzoli from the University of Seville presented this cutting-edge initiative that brings together tech firms, cooperatives, and researchers to develop a modular autonomous vehicle for woody crops, integrating AI, 5G, cloud computing, and precision systems to optimize resource use and promote sustainable agriculture.
This kind of technological innovation is crucial for broad agriculture and sustainable viticulture, aligning perfectly with the goals of VTskills. By connecting with pioneering projects like GREENBOT, we strengthen the ecosystem that will drive the transformation of Mediterranean viticulture and beyond.
